FRENELL offers to support its customers in the Project Siting. This includes site pre selection or exclusion with the help of GIS Mapping. Subsequently preferred sites would be assessed in more detail. Ground measurements of solar radiation, geotechnical surveys and natural hazard assessments are essential parts of such an assessment.
The lean interface of FRENELL´s CSP core technology together with its turnkey delivery concept supports a smooth and fast EPC contract development process. An essential element of such EPC Contracts is the provision of a computer based CSP plant performance model containing the contractually guaranteed conversion from solar radiation to net electricity output.

Manufacturing technologies, widely used in the automotive industry, guarantee constant high quality and production rates of FRENELL´s primary mirrors. The manufacturing facility is mobile and directly established on project site, which minimizes transportation cost. The modular collector design with only bolted connections guarantees an easy , measurable and repeatable construction process with no need for heavy machinery. Provisional- and final acceptance certificates (PAC/FAC) are important project milestones that prove performance and reliability of the entire plant. Continuous monitoring of the solar field performance is a fundamental part of the FRENELL O&M quality control. Daily automated performance reports allow the plant operators to optimize the operation of the plant as well as recognizing default risks in a timely manner.
